Join this COP27 event on "Climate change impact in mountains: How the melting cryosphere affects local communities and ecosystems", jointly organised by the IAEA, the governments of Bolivia and Nepal, and UNEP.
The event will focus on insights into climate change impacts on soil, sediments, water and cryosphere dynamics in mountainous regions, highlighting local communities’ pressing concerns of freshwater scarcity.
It will take place on Saturday 12th November 14:00-15:00 local time (GMT+2) at the Atoms4Climate Pavilion on site at COP27. To attend the event in person, you must register for COP27. This event and other IAEA COP27 events will be livestreamed online for those without registration.
