DAI are proudly supporting the delivery of the Local Adaptation Champions Awards 2022, and we are pleased to announce the application window is officially open!
These Awards, launched by Global Center on Adaptation, aim to spotlight and reward locally led efforts to address climate change and build resilience among vulnerable communities.
Launched by GCA in 2022, the Local Adaptation Champions Awards spotlight and reward innovative, exemplary, inspiring, and scalable locally led efforts that address the impacts of climate change and build effective climate resilience among the most vulnerable communities, sections of society, and individuals who are at the frontlines of the greatest existential threat faced by humankind.
Four winners in four categories will receive their prizes from a high-level Jury in November, in Sharm el-Sheikh, during COP 27.
