This 3-part webinar series has been developed by the University Climate Change Coalition (UC3), Second Nature and the Research and Independent Non-Governmental Organizations (RINGOs) constituency to provide anyone interested in the international climate negotiations with a comprehensive overview of the UNFCCC process, including policy questions and issues to be addressed in the upcoming COP 27 negotiations. Webinar 1: Overview of the UNFCCC Negotiation Process and Structure. Monday, September 19, 2022 @ 7pm Eastern Time. This first webinar will share information on the overall UNFCCC governance structure, how the negotiations work, side events, green spaces, negotiation area, and how to plan out participation during COP27. Webinar 2: Engaging with the UNFCCC: COPs, Bodies, and Issues. Monday, October 3, 2022 @ 7pm Eastern Time. This second webinar will share ways to learn about and engage with the UNFCCC outside of the COPs; enhance understanding of how the Subsidiary Bodies (SBs) and Constituted Bodies (CBs) support the work of the UNFCCC and its Conference of the Parties; and enrich understanding of the UNFCCC objectives and processes.
