In this guideline, alternative solutions are provided for the bottlenecks (determination) methods provided with which a builder of floating structures based on equivalence can request request.

This guide is intended for professionals who are involved in the design of a floating
development and with the application for an environmental permit. The sharing of this guideline to an international audience is because often in practice the Dutch guidelines are often applied as a help when there are none. The guide is aimed at new constructions and not for renovations where other rules apply.
