Nancy Kadenyi

Natural Resources Management Specialist

Kadenyi has an educational background in Environmental Conservation and Natural Resource Management. She has a great interest and passion in rangelands and natural resources management, agroforestry, farmer-managed natural regeneration, water management, climate-smart agriculture, community environmental education, and participatory research. Over the past 4 years, she has been involved in community engagements in natural resources management projects/activities. Some of the activities include climate-smart farming, agroforestry, road water harvesting for climate resilience and improved food security, indigenous pasture production for improved rural livelihoods, roadside tree growing, urban climate resilience and grant proposal search and writing. She plans to continue working with the community and the youth towards sustainable development in ending poverty and hunger, climate action, clean water and sanitation, and sustainable communities without jeopardizing the natural resources and the environment.
