Dear colleagues,
The International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD) and the China Council for International Cooperation on Environment and Development (CCICED) would like to invite you to our upcoming joint webinar on Nature-Based Solutions as a Catalyst for Achieving Mutual Benefits for People, Nature, and Climate: Lessons learned from China and globally.
REGISTER HERE
Join us on January 20, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. (GMT +1), to learn from a panel of diverse international experts as they discuss the evidence of nature-based solutions (NbS) for biodiversity, climate change mitigation, and adaptation outcomes, as well as of how NbS can support policy implementation. Featured specialists will share their experiences on the application of NbS to achieve long-term environmental, social, and economic benefits.
Hosted on Zoom, this event will provide a spotlight on leading Chinese practices, such as Turning cities into sponges and The Ecological Conservation Red Line, and Europe's NbS work under the Horizon 2020 program and the new European Green Deal.
Registration is mandatory and can be completed with this link.
For more information and updates on the webinar's agenda, please visit the event page on the IISD website.
